Anyone Else Struggle With This?
Hi everyone! I'm new here and I'm just wondering if anyone else has this issue,
I have a very strange habit with food i'll either eat EVERYTHING in one go or I can go hours, maybe even days without eating no problem.
For example I also struggle with a binge eating disorder but since my mother is away on holidays I havent been able to go get my own food shopping as I don't have a car myself yet so I am living off maybe one small meal a day. Now when I make my usual dinners or even think about eating I am either not hungry at all or I eat only a few bites, I'm just wondering if this is a normal thing? My counciller who diagnosed me said it could be linked but I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how do you over come it? I know not eating my usual diet would be better for me as I do tend to indulge but at the moment the thought of food or eating makes me want to vomit because I've gone so long barely eating anything!

That sounds more like you just have disordered eating, I'm oral (not in that way) and I'm always like chewing on things because it helps to relax me. I had to switch from my finger to those larger plastic drink sticks because I was damaging my finger from chewing on it so much. If you have other things that bother you, then maybe? But just having eating problems sounds more like you need to be on a strict you need to eat during this time and this much, diet plans so you don't ruin your heath. With me I don't want to eat anything when I chew on plastic sticks, I just want to feel the plastic stick, so it's not related to food in that way. (Though with foods I'm very texture sensitive, but I'm an evolved foodie so that part of my life has made things better for me.) You really need to set up a plan so you're eating properly, so you don't damage your heart and/or brain. (These are my personal thoughts, I'm only a BA psychology and behavioral neuroscience minor, my major was biology. So I'm no masters degree on anything.)
