I know this forum is a year old but I just came across this forum and post as I was researching about SPD. We recently discovered my 11 year old has this. I'll go into more details if you are still looking at this thread. My daughter also has problems with water on her hands and feet. She doesn't say it hurts but acts like it is hurting her. She describes it as a dry feeling. She refuses lotion. It's only after her hands/feet get wet and then the sensation can last hours. Just wondering if you have had any success. We attended our first OT appointment last week. Hopefully we will start seeing improvement. Thanks for your advice.
