Adding movement to my day
Hey everyone, I'm new here! I am a middle schooler with mild SPD, and lately I have been realizing that i am more hyper in class than I used to be. I have some fidget toys that have helped a ton, (without them I tear up my binder with my pencil) but sometimes I just really need to move in class. I will often rock or bounce in my seat. I know this can be related to SPD,(vestibular under sensitivity) but I'm not sure if it can come on/get worse in adolescence. Regardless, it's clear that I need more movement during the day. I was intrigued by the Fitball Wiggle Cushions, but they seemed like they would be inconvenient to carry around from class to class. Does anyone have any ideas for ways I can add more movement to my day? Thanks!
