Hello.
I am here and writing this post because I believe i suffer with a severe sensory integration disorder.
My sensory problem is tactile. I have a very difficultly time finding clothes.
And my clothes that work are falling to pieces.
I left school because wearing clothes to school was too much.
For me even many cotton clothes don't work.
I am looking to ameliorate this problem, or at the very least to find more clothes that work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

RE: Tactile sensory disorder
I'd search for an occupational therapist that does the Wilbarger Brushing Protocol. The brushing protocol definitely helped with my tactile sensitivity. After we finished the protocol, my OT even brought old clothing of her daughter's that was going to go to salvation army to be donated, and had me try on it, and gave me a bunch of it, because I could wear most of it.
There's still a lot I can't wear. But we've definitely extended what I can wear.
