Suggestion: Different sections for different needs
It occurred to me that, although we have a few here that are primarily sensory defensive, that as we get more people, it might be helpful to have sections in the treatment area that focus on defensive, seeking, etc strategies.
Just a thought.

RE: Suggestion: Different sections for different needs
Thanks for the suggestions Mawkinberd. You know... this was one of my original ideas too.
I didn't do it yet because I wanted to figure out how things would be going on this site first. I wanted there to be a little activity first. I want at least a few active members for each forum I set up, you know? LOL. At this point, I'm trying to draw people in, and it helps to see a lot of people, and not just a ton of blank categories.
I'm considering reorganizing a few of the forums, so keep an eye out for that .
This is a great suggestion, and something I definitely want to do, so sooner or later I will.

RE: Suggestion: Different sections for different needs
With starting forumboards you want you want to be very careful not to overdo it. If you have a ton of forums it'll look very empty and dead even though there is activity. You spread your activity too thin. When that happens fewer people will join. So in the beginning forums are going to be vague and be supercatagories rather then very specific. That'll come later. That's the reasoning behind not having many forums YET.

Makes perfect sense. I was thinking more in the future, as well. So you don't mind if I fill things a little, right?
