RE: The Dreaded Sleep question...
Yay! My younger son is a seeker and he sleeps with his weighted blanket every night. He loves it!

RE: The Dreaded Sleep question...
I'm adding to the people who said weighted blankets.
I stopped taking melatonin when I started sleeping with my weighted blanket and sleep better than I ever did while taking melatonin. I also have been having fewer issues with emotional instability because of my blanket, but those are a separate issue.

RE: The Dreaded Sleep question...
I know this sounds weird since melatonin is something we naturally produce but both my daughter and I had adverse effects from taking melatonin. She would wake up so angry in the morning and when I would ask her why she was so angry she would say I don't know I just want to punch something. At first I didn't think it was the melatonin until I started taking it and had the very same reaction...needless to say her and I don't take it anymore and the anger issues have gone away. Now if we can just find a solution to the sleep issue. We have started to see some new issues with my daughter she will be sound asleep and will sit straight up in bed say some random word and then lay back down. Or last night she was sleeping in my bed and all of the sudden she started doing Karate kicks in bed...I caught two in the ribs. Needless to say we didn't go to school today when when the alarm went off and we told her it was time to get up instant meltdown. I am open for any suggestions or tips of the trade.
