Hello, where do I start? Can anyone tell me if the school system does any diagnostic testing for kids with SPD? We live in CA.

Hi Jagmom

The school system might do testing for SPD under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), but you'd have to make the case that the symptoms are adversely affecting your child's educational performance to get the testing done. More than that, I don't really know. Some school systems are more educated and easier to work with than others.
