The nursery school I work for has a 4 year old boy whom we suspect has SPD. (We are in the process of talking with the parents about his issues) Anyway the biggest issue, at this time, is getting him to line up and waiting in line. He can't stand still, will intentionally push or run into the children. If you touch him to remove him from the line he goes in meltdown mode. Does anyone has a suggestion on how we should deal with his behavior?

RE: Standing in line issues
It depends on the spd triggers. If flourescent lights are an issue, then wraparound sunglasses might help. Depending on how long they're waiting, mental exercises, squeeze balls, etc. might also help.
