guilty and frustrated

Hello..brand new to everything. My son was diagnosed with SPD last week. I've personally had a lot of mixed emotions..have any parents felt guilty that they didn't seek help sooner, after finding out what is actually going on? Also the frustration in explaining this to people who have no clue what SPD is? I can't be the only one out there
