my son's sensory difficultes
Hi
iam the mum of an amazing son who is 17 and has ASC. He has never had an sensory assessment before, which iam considering for him at the moment. He struggles greatly with processing information, change of environmens, and holds it in until he is at home.vision, textures ect.But the really sad thing is we both feel that he is going to go through his life with out people truly understanding him.Because he comes accross so bright they just dont understand his true complex needs, and how difficult it is for him to process everything around him every minute of every day.I feel so down some dsys and have spent so many wasted years fighting his corner, I can't believe its seems to be only me who can see the massive issues.can anyone please advice me and finally point me in the right direction..
