RE: My son can't feel if he needs to wee or pooh - anyone else had this?
Nothing seemed to work with my older son. I sort of gave up after my younger son was born. I just brought him to the bathroom at regular times during the day, cleaned him if he went in his underwear, and didn't say a peep otherwise. Rewards hadn't worked, bare bottom hadn't worked. But I hadn't a clue about his SPD at the time.
It was the first day of our vacation to FL, just a couple weeks before his 4th birthday. I showed him where the bathroom was in case he needed it. My younger son (6 months old) was napping, older was playing. He suddenly jumped up, went to the bathroom, and went potty. He had very few accidents after that. It was either the change of scenery or he was ready. I don't think it was anything I did.
It's worth a try, I suppose! I doubt it could hurt! Good luck!
