Vibrating pad for nap time?
Hi, my son with sensory processing issues has a hard time falling asleep for naps. At home, I take the twins out for a drive to help them fall asleep. My smaller twin usually falls asleep within a few minutes, but Bobby can take over 40 mins. At day care, they can't do that, and I can tell he wears them out.
I'm thinking about getting some kind of vibrating pad, but it can't be like the crib vibrators, because he has a cot there, not a bed. Can anyone suggest a vibrating pad that might help my son with SPD fall asleep at day care?
Many thanks,
Maggie

I used to have a massaging chair pad that had a vibrate setting. It may work if you just lie it flat under the cot.

RE: Vibrating pad for nap time?
Hi Maggie,
We just tried an ILS pillow at our OT clinic which transmits soothing music through bone conduction. Kinda pricey, but our 2.5 yr DD loved it. Might be the trick...
