My five year old daughter was recently diagnosed with seeking and dyspraxia. She was diagnosed two years ago with speech apraxia. We found that the banging her head on walls and floors was not related, however, to the SPD. She was/is highly sensitive to sugar. Once we eliminated sugar from her diet, the head banging stopped completely. If you think sugar could be contributing to his behavior, I recommend you read the book, "Little Sugar Addicts" by Kathleen DesMaisons. It's available on Amazon. Welcome to our support group!

I have a head banger! Wow, sugar huh?
I might have to look into that book as well.
Welcome!
So wonderful to see some many sensory seekers out there, which seems to create different issues that those who primary avoid.
