OT - teen with SPD - 07-27-2011 I go for OT every two weeks and get exercises to do at home like for example I do therapeutic listening , stretching exercises , breathing exercises and now vision light therapy to make my eyes work together. The vision therapy is supposed to produce special light that changes the way my eyes move. RE: OT - LynnNBoys - 07-27-2011 That's great! Have you noticed any changes? RE: OT - LaneSensorina - 07-27-2011 Me too, please keep us updated RE: OT - teen with SPD - 07-28-2011 I will be sure to keep you updated The changes I have noticed are , with therapeutic listening I can better do the interactive metronome and with stretching I can now do some of them that when I first started OT I couldn't do and with the vision therapy I just started that and I go back in 2 weeks to see if there is any progress . I'm especially curious about the theraputic listening and the interactive metronome - I've wondered if they would be things my daughter would find helpful since marching to a beat and singing seems to be calming for her.
