Mom of Ry - drmomjoyce - 10-28-2010 Hi Im Joyce and my dear 6yo has shown that he is not in sync with the rest of the world and thankfully I was directed to the diagnosis of SPD. Reading the book by Kranowitz after doing doing an online checklist gave me the answers I needed to help him. I think it's great that you've found out about SPD for your son. The sooner you get things rolling, the easier it should be for your family to integrate some good coping skills into your lives. That's all to the good. I'd love to hear more about you and your son and what you are like. What sort of SPD symptoms does he have? We have all different types of SPD people here, so you should be able to get some great advice from people who have "been there, done that." Looking forward to getting to know you better!
