Intro - Mlorange - 10-18-2013 'Just wanted to say hi. I've been struggling with sensory issues for as long as I can remember (I guess since I was 5 and wore purple corduroy pants everyday because I couldn't tolerate any of the others). I guess I'm here though because now I'm watching my 3yo son experience his own quirks and meltdowns and it is so hard. He just had his first OT eval recently and I feel like I'm going to need some support if I'm going to be strong enough and supportive enough to help him through his program. It's great to find some people to talk to who understand. My whole life I felt like I was crazy because people act like they think I am, due to my SPD issues.
